New Delhi, April 13— The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) on Monday declared the final results of Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Examination-2020.
In all, a total of 476 candidates have been declared successful against 487 vacant posts in 24 categories, said UPPSC in a press statement.
Sanchita Sharma, a fellow of Jamia Millia Islamia’s Residential Coaching Academy has topped the coveted exam. Four other fellows of the RCA have also cleared the exam.
“Sanchita Sharma of RCA, JMI has topped the list of successful candidates in UPPSC 2020 Examination. The result was declared on Monday, 12th April. She has also qualified for UPSC Civil Services (Interview) Examination 2020 and preparing for the same at the RCA,” said Jamia’s PRO.
Few more candidates of RCA have also been selected in UPPSC Examination. They would get services like SDM, DY.S.P., and other allied services of the UP. They are Zafar, Tanveer, Avinash Kumar and Darshana Jain.
JMI Vice Chancellor Prof. Najma Akhtar and other senior officials have congratulated all the successful candidates for their success.
According to a report in Jagran Hindi daily, Sanchita hails from Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar in Punjab. She did BE (Chemical Engineering) from Punjab University and later did MBA. For preparation for competitive exams, she joined the Residential Coaching Academy of Jamia Millia.
